Occupational therapists help children improve their participation and independence in daily life activities.
Children who are at risk for developing delays or who are already showing delays will often benefit from occupational therapy.
Bright and Early specializes in coaching parents of children how to change their environment and routines to help their children learn and behave their best. We address problems in daily routines like eating, playing, and sleeping.

Bright and Early is a cash-pay private practice. This means clients are responsible for full payment of services.
We do not accept insurance because:
We believe health insurance providers should not have a say in our clients’ health. We keep important healthcare decisions where they should be - between a family and their healthcare provider.
There are no billing surprises. The prices listed are the prices you pay. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, families paying out of pocket for services are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the expected costs of services with us.
We do our best to make sure every session is meaningful and valuable. This way, clients get only as many sessions as needed instead of staying on our schedule as long as insurance continues to pay.
We do, however, provide superbills. A superbill is a detailed invoice that clients can use to request reimbursement from their insurance providers for services already paid.
Your child may also be eligible for services funded by the San Diego Regional Center. Click here to apply.

Bright and Early proudly provides virtual services for the following reasons:
Telehealth allows for flexible scheduling and it keeps families and therapists off the road.
Children feel most comfortable receiving services in their own homes with their own stuff.
Parents learn to be hands-on in their children’s progress while germs are hands off.
Services are accessible to families in rural areas of California.
Virtual therapy is a win-win all around!
